Solid Dish Soap

The liquid castile soap, poured and cut into a hard bar — eight ounces by weight, one ingredient, no scent. Wet a sponge, brush or cloth, rub it across the bar to build a lather, and wash as usual; it cuts grease without leaving anything behind on the dishes. It works anywhere the liquid soap does: laundry stains, label residue on jars, the stovetop. One bar lasts weeks. Keep it on a slotted or well-drained dish so it dries between uses rather than going soft.

Sodium olivate (saponified olive oil). Free of nuts, palm and gluten.
