The Dinnerware Set in Gray/Black

A gray and black dinnerware set with a smooth interior and a textured exterior — the glaze is applied so the outside keeps the tactile surface of the clay while the inside stays easy to eat from and easy to clean. The two-tone effect is what makes it: modern without being cold.

The set is a dinner plate, a side plate, a flat bowl and a soup bowl. Buy all four together, or one at a time if you are building a table gradually.

Materials

Glazed ceramic.

Sizing

Dinner plate: 9.5 in across, 1 in high. Side plate: 7.5 in across, 1 in high. Flat bowl: 7.75 in across, 2 in high. Soup bowl: 6.5 in across, 2.5 in high.

Care

Food, dishwasher and microwave safe, though washing by hand will keep the glaze looking its best. Ceramic gets very hot in a microwave, so take care lifting it out.

Made in

Made and glazed by hand in Victor Serrano's Brooklyn studio, New York.

Please note

Every piece is made and glazed by hand, so color and size vary a little from one to the next. That is the character of the work rather than a fault in it.
