Popsicle T-Shirt - Organic Cotton

Small graphic, big summer. A red, white and blue popsicle sits high on the chest of a white tee — a print that does not shout, which is part of why kids keep reaching for it on the hottest days.

The shirt under it is Jackalo's Frankie raglan in organic cotton jersey: breathable when the air is thick, with raglan sleeves that give extra room through the arms and shoulders and a body cut long so it keeps covering through a growth spurt. It holds up wash after wash, which matters for a shirt that will meet sunscreen, popsicle drips and the garden hose in a single afternoon. The graphic is printed in Washington, DC.

White, sizes 4 to 14. Buy it for July and expect it back out of the drawer the July after.

Materials

Organic cotton jersey, sewn at a factory that is both Fair Trade and GOTS certified.

Sizing

Sizes run true to size, with extra length built in. If your child is between sizes, size up. Organic cotton shrinks about 3 to 5% in the first wash. To check a size, measure around the chest just under the armpit, around the waist at its narrowest, and around the fullest part of the hips.

Care

Pre-treat stains with an eco-friendly treatment such as oxygen bleach or castile soap. Wash in cool water. Air dry, or tumble on low. Wash only what needs washing.
