Oxygen Brightener Bleach Alternative, Refill

The same 128 loads of oxygen brightener, in packaging you can compost. The refill comes as a kraft paper bag inside a paperboard box: tear off the tin tie, tip the powder into your canister, and recycle or compost what is left. No plastic at any point.

Inside is the same two-ingredient powder — sodium percarbonate and washing soda — that lifts stains and clears lingering odors without chlorine. A tablespoon boosts a load of laundry. For soaking or scrubbing, dissolve a tablespoon in 8 to 16 oz of warm water, or about a quarter cup per gallon, and use it fresh. It refills an Oxygen Brightener canister, or any container you already have at home. Net wt. 32 oz (907 g), enough for 128 HE or 64 standard loads.

This is the one Meliora product that is not septic-safe, because the oxidizers that do the cleaning also kill bacteria. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and rinse the surface thoroughly after cleaning with it. Never store the mixed solution in a sealed container — it gives off oxygen as it works. Mix only as much as you need; the solution loses strength as it sits.
