Mushroom Bag
Details
Mushrooms give off moisture as they sit, and in a sealed punnet that moisture has nowhere to go — which is why they turn slick and dark long before they taste bad. This shallow zip-top linen bag lets air move around them and absorbs what they release, so they stay firm and dry to the touch.
This is a dry-storage bag. Put mushrooms in unwashed, keep it on a fridge shelf or in a low-humidity drawer, and rinse or wipe them just before cooking. Use within about two weeks. The linen is untreated — there is no antimicrobial finish on it.

European flax linen with a YKK zipper made in the USA. Hand-sewn in Ojai, California.
