Lip-to-Lid Balmie Crayon

A colour crayon for eyes, lips and cheeks, made from nine ingredients and sold with no tube and no cap — the crayon is wrapped in paper you tear down as you use it, and it holds the same amount of product as a standard lipstick. Castor oil and kokum butter give it the body to hold its shape; hemp, plum seed and neem oils keep it from dragging. The finish is semi-matte and on the dry side, which suits oily skin and layers well over face oils. No sharpening — use it like a lipstick.

The colour comes from minerals and mineral-derived pigments, not synthetic dyes. Vegan and cruelty-free, both certified by PETA, and made without palm oil.

Ten shades. Cherry is a burnt berry with warm earthy undertones; Nude Plum a soft muted rose with a hint of plum; Strawberry a clay-orange with a strawberry jam finish; Raspberry a berry fuchsia; Cinnamon a rose-hued copper with warm orange undertones; Peach a peachy pink with a golden sheen; Rosé a frosty cream with a hint of rosy; Watermelon a sweet dewy watermelon; Sorbet a powder pink with cool undertones; and Clementine a barely-there orange with a shimmery finish.

How to use

Apply straight to eyes, lips and cheeks and blend with a finger or a brush. Tear the paper down as you go and keep the crayon in its box. Do not sharpen it.
