Lightweight Stevie Sweatshirt - Organic Cotton

This is the solid-color Stevie: the same raglan sweatshirt, in a warm Butterscotch or a deep Peacock blue, with no contrast panels to compete with whatever else they have pulled on. It is cut from Jackalo's signature organic loopknit cotton, a softer, smoother relative of French terry.

What makes it the one they reach for is the weight. It is warmer than a long-sleeved shirt but nowhere near as heavy as a standard sweatshirt, so it layers under a coat in January without bulk and works on its own on a cool spring morning. The classic raglan cut leaves the shoulders free for climbing and scootering, and there are no PFAS or harsh chemicals in the fabric.

Materials

Organic loopknit cotton, a softer and smoother knit than French terry, sewn in a Fair Trade and GOTS certified factory.

Sizing

Sizes run true to size with extra length built in. If your child is between sizes, size up. Organic cotton shrinks about 3 to 5% in the first wash. To measure, take the chest just under the armpit, the waist at its narrowest point and the hips at their fullest.

Care

Pre-treat stains with an eco-friendly treatment such as oxygen bleach or castile soap. Wash in cool water. Air dry, or tumble dry on low. Don't wash what isn't dirty.
