Laundry Powder Detergent, Refill

The same 128 loads of laundry powder, in packaging you can compost. The refill comes as a kraft paper bag inside a paperboard box: tear off the tin tie, tip the powder into your canister, and recycle or compost what is left. No plastic at any point.

Inside is the same short formula — baking soda, washing soda and vegetable soap, with organic essential oils in the scented varieties and nothing else. Half a tablespoon does an HE load and a full tablespoon a standard one, straight into the drum under your clothes. It refills a Laundry Powder canister, or any container you already have at home. Net wt. 35 oz (992 g), enough for 128 HE or 64 standard loads.

Go unscented, or choose lavender, lemon, peppermint, spiced orange or lemon-lavender-clove — all from organic essential oils, never synthetic fragrance. Made in Chicago by a woman-owned, certified B Corp, MADE SAFE® certified, Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free and vegan.

Ingredients

Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), sodium carbonate (washing soda), vegetable soap [sodium cocoate, glycerin, organic cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, water].

Scented varieties add organic essential oils only. Lavender adds organic lavandula hybrida (lavender) oil. Lemon adds organic citrus limon (lemon) peel oil. Peppermint adds organic mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf oil. Spiced Orange adds organic citrus sinensis (orange) oil and organic eugenia caryophyllus (clove) bud oil. Lemon-Lavender-Clove adds all three of organic citrus limon (lemon) peel oil, organic lavandula hybrida (lavender) oil and organic eugenia caryophyllus (clove) bud oil.

Septic-safe, but not suitable for greywater you then use on plants — the baking soda and washing soda would add too much sodium to your soil. Wash at 60°F or above; if your machine has a "tap cold" setting that adds no hot water, choose semi-warm instead. The scented varieties contain fragrance allergens.
