Handwoven Wool Runner Rug Bloom

A runner in a brushed weave, creamy in colour and gently marked with delicate floral outlines. Each one is woven on an old loom, in a technique that leaves the marks of the person working it.

CREATING COMFORT makes these to order in its studio in Ukraine and directs part of its proceeds to Ukrainian refugees inside the country.

Materials

Natural Carpathian sheep wool, handwoven on a cotton base.

Size

27.6" × 63" (70 × 160 cm). Custom sizes and colours can be ordered.

Care

Clean with wool detergents only, or have it professionally cleaned. Vacuum with a standard floor nozzle rather than a rotating brush. Scrape dry marks towards the middle; wool sheds liquid slowly, so a spill can usually be wiped or shaken off.

Made to order — allow one to four weeks, unless the piece is already in the US warehouse, in which case it ships right away. Handwoven, so size and pattern vary slightly from piece to piece.
