Wooden Plate with High Sides

A wooden version of the high-sided stoneware dinner plates, with the same deep rim for layering a dish. Each one starts as a solid plank of ash and is hand-carved and shaped, so the grain, the colour and the carved detail differ on every plate — and none of them is a perfectly even circle.

CREATING COMFORT makes these in its studio in Ukraine and directs part of its proceeds to Ukrainian refugees inside the country.
