Flower Power Botanically Dyed Bandana
Details
Tie it in your hair, knot it at your neck or let it hang out of a back pocket — a 24-inch square that lifts whatever you were already wearing. The flower print is made by pressing real blooms against the cloth until they give up their colour, so you are wearing the impression of an actual flower rather than a pattern someone drew.
The fabric is light and soft enough for summer and easy to layer in winter, and the flowers come from a Maplewood, New Jersey dye garden, grown from seed and used in small hand-dyed batches. Worth keeping one in your bag for the days your hair has other ideas.
