Beeswax Avocado Candle

An avocado, halved and unlit, that turns out to be a candle. Cast from real fruit and hand-poured in pure beeswax, which holds detail beautifully — the skin has texture, the pit has a sheen. It burns with the light honey scent of the hive and nothing else.

The wax comes from one family farm in California’s Central Valley, where thirty-four hives work ten acres of lavender, rosemary, wildflowers, sunflowers and citrus. Keeping those bees thriving for the next generation is the point of the whole operation — and it is why every candle here is poured in pure beeswax, with no paraffin and no fragrance oil.
