Details
The signature glass, and the one most people start with. Amber glass throws a warmer, lower light than clear glass does, so a single candle changes the feel of a whole room rather than just lighting a corner of it. Eight ounces, around 36 hours of burning.
No paraffin, no synthetic fragrance, no phthalates, no GMOs, no metal wick cores. The wax is organic beeswax, carnauba, coconut and palm, certified organic by the Soil Association; the scent is organic essential oils and organic plant-derived aromatics, taking the candle past 99.6% organic overall. Hand-poured in Longmont, Colorado.
When the wax is gone the vessel is yours. Wash it and repurpose it, or refill it — the refills are made for vessels this size.
Materials
Wax: organic beeswax, organic carnauba, organic coconut and organic palm, certified organic by the Soil Association. Wick: organic cotton and unbleached organic linen, coated with organic wax. Scent: organic essential oils and organic plant-derived aromatics; Pure Aura has none. Vessel: amber glass.
Sizing
226 g (8 oz) of wax. 3" diameter × 3.5" high. Burn time around 36 hours.
Care
Hand-wash the vessel if you plan to reuse it for refills — the paint lasts longer than it does through repeated dishwasher cycles.
Made in
United States — hand-poured in Longmont, Colorado.
Please note
Trim the wick to 1/4" (6 mm) before each lighting. Burn for at least 2 hours at a time but no more than 4, to prevent overheating, and rotate the candle now and then for an even burn. If a dark mushroom forms on the wick, put the candle out, let it cool and trim before relighting. Keep the wax pool free of debris and put the candle out with a snuffer. Always burn within sight, on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and anything flammable. Keep away from children and pets, and do not move the candle while it is lit or still hot. Stop burning when 1/4" (6 mm) of wax remains. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Some tunnelling early on is normal; these are designed to catch up as they burn.
