Frankie T-Shirt - Organic Cotton

The Frankie is the tee the rest of the range is built around, and it comes in more colours than anything else Jackalo makes.

Its sleeve is a raglan, running on a diagonal from the underarm up to the neck rather than seaming across the top of the shoulder. That gives a child more room through the arms and chest and keeps the shirt moving with them instead of against them, which is why it ends up being the one worn on the school run, at the playground and straight through a growth spurt. The jersey is soft organic cotton, lightweight to wear and made to hold up wash after wash.

It is sewn in India by a production partner that is both Fair Trade and GOTS certified, for a company that offsets the carbon produced across every phase of its work and commits 1% of annual sales through 1% for the Planet. Seven colours — Navy, Parakeet, Ocher, Regatta, Eucalyptus, White and Sherbet — in 4Y to 14Y, with Eucalyptus and White starting at 2Y. Buy one and you will be back for the rest.

100% organic cotton jersey.

Sizing

Sizes run true to size, with extra length built in. If your child is between sizes, size up. The cotton may shrink about 3 to 5% in the first wash. To check a size, measure around the chest just under the armpit, around the waist at its narrowest, and around the fullest part of the hips.

Care

Pre-treat stains with an eco-friendly treatment such as oxygen bleach or castile soap. Wash in cool water. Air dry, or tumble on low. And do not wash what is not dirty.
