Ash Pants - Organic Cotton

The Ash Pant is Jackalo's best-selling jogger, and the one that ends up by the front door every school morning. A relaxed, moto-inspired cut in organic cotton twill that breathes through a hot playground afternoon and still looks like itself at pick-up.

The knees are reinforced where children wear through first. There is extra length built into the leg, so you can cuff it now and let it down after the next growth spurt. The waist is a soft elastic band with a drawstring, easy enough for a four-year-old to pull on without help. The fabric is made without PFAS, formaldehyde or phthalates.

These are built for a second and third child rather than a single season. Jackalo offsets the carbon produced in every phase of their work and commits 1% of annual sales through 1% for the Planet.

Materials

GOTS-certified organic cotton twill, 250–300 GSM, woven in a Fair Trade and GOTS certified facility.

Sizing

Sizes run true to size, with extra length built into the leg. If your child is between sizes, size up. Organic cotton may shrink about 3 to 5 percent in the first wash. These pants sit one to two inches below the natural waist. To choose a size, measure your child around the chest just under the armpit, around the waist at its narrowest point, and around the fullest part of the hips.

Care

Pre-treat stains with an eco-friendly treatment such as oxygen bleach or castile soap. Wash in cool water. Air dry, or tumble dry on low. Wash only what is actually dirty.
