Ivory Pure Beeswax Pillar Candles

The same long burn as Bluecorn's raw beeswax pillars, in white. Filtering the wax hard enough to take out the honey and pollen that give raw beeswax its golden colour also takes out the scent, so these are genuinely unscented rather than scented with something else.

Materials

100% pure beeswax with a cotton wick and a metal wick clip for stability — which means these will not sit on a spiked holder. No petroleum, paraffin, parabens, soy or added fragrance.

Size

• 2" × 3" — around 25 hours
• 2" × 4.5" — around 36 hours
• 3" × 3" — around 50 hours
• 3" × 4" — around 60 hours
• 3" × 6" — around 90 hours

Care

Trim the wick to 1/4" before each lighting and burn on a heat-safe surface. To put one out without smoke, tip a little wax from the molten pool onto the wick.

A 2" pillar should burn no more than an hour at a time, or it drips. A 3" wants at least three hours per sitting; press the warm walls gently in toward the flame as it burns down, which melts all the available wax and lengthens the total burn. If the wick curls or leans, nudge it straight below the molten pool, where it is strongest and less likely to break.
