Jules Shorts - Orange Chambray - Organic Cotton

Not too long, not too short — these surf-inspired shorts are the Goldilocks of summer. They are cut from organic cotton chambray broadcloth in a warm orange, light enough for the hottest week of the year and sturdy enough for the climbing frame.

The waistband is elasticated, so they go on and off without help and without a morning argument, and there are four deep pockets for the rocks, shells and other treasures that come home from every adventure. Sizes run 4Y to 14Y. Jackalo gives 1% of annual sales to 1% for the Planet and offsets the carbon produced across its work. Add a pair before the warm weather.

Materials

Organic cotton chambray broadcloth, produced in fair trade facilities. The waistband is elasticated.

Sizing

Sizes run true to size, with extra length built in. If your child is between sizes, size up. The cotton may shrink about 3–5% on the first wash. Measure your child to choose: around the chest just under the armpit, around the waist at its narrowest, and around the fullest part of the hips.

Care

Pre-treat stains with an eco-friendly treatment such as oxygen bleach or castile soap. Wash in cool water. Air dry, or tumble dry on low. Don’t wash what isn’t dirty.
