Fleur de Sel Spring Salt - Microplastic Free

A fleur de sel that forms on the surface of protected spring beds given the right mix of sun, breeze and time, then is lifted off by hand in small batches. The crystals are denser and crunchier than flake salt, so they hold their texture on the plate. Good as a finishing salt where you want the crunch to register — over roasted vegetables, poached eggs, grilled fish or dark chocolate.

Third-party tested for microplastics and for heavy metals including aluminium, arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury.

Ingredients

Spring salt. No additives, preservatives or anti-caking agents. Mineral content includes potassium 294ppm, magnesium 382ppm and calcium 1,034ppm. Hand-harvested by traditional methods, neither processed nor bleached.

Care

Store in a cool, dry place once opened. Clumping is normal, as nothing is added to prevent it.

Packaging is cardboard with an inner bag of biodegradable, compostable potato starch, so the salt never touches plastic.
