XL Leafy Greens Bag

The same zip-top linen bag as the standard Leafy Greens, scaled up for whole heads of lettuce, full bunches of kale and chard, and the kind of haul that comes home from a farmers market. The flax weave holds gentle humidity against the leaves while still breathing, so greens stay crisp instead of sweating in a bag or drying out loose in the drawer.

This is a damp-storage bag. Rinse hearty greens and shake off the excess, spray delicate ones, and aim for about a third of the bag looking visibly wet. Zip it closed, keep it in the crisper drawer, and re-wet the linen as it dries out. The linen is untreated — there is no antimicrobial finish on it.

Care

Turn inside out and shake out any debris. Hand wash, or machine wash on gentle in warm water with a natural, non-toxic detergent — baking soda works well. Do not tumble dry. Use it straight out of the spin cycle, or air dry, ideally in the sun.
