Handmade Stoneware Oval Large Serving Platter in Oats

An oval serving platter in the Oats stoneware — a creamy white clay carrying bold natural black speckles that can be felt on the surface, though the finish stays smooth and never sharp. The open, organic form suits fruit, pastries, roasted vegetables or a salad, and it reads well simply left out on a counter. Each one is shaped by hand and sold individually, in either size.

CREATING COMFORT makes these in its studio in Ukraine and directs part of its proceeds to Ukrainian refugees inside the country.

Materials

Oat stoneware — creamy white clay with natural black speckles — finished with a food-safe, lead-free glaze.

Large: 11.4" × 6.7", height 0.6". Medium: 8.7" × 5.5", height 0.4".

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Made to order — allow one to four weeks, unless the piece is already in the US warehouse, in which case it ships right away. Shaped by hand, so each platter varies slightly in size and in the pattern of speckles.
