Handmade Stoneware Dinner Plates with High Sides

Exposed rough stoneware that still shows the occasional mark of the maker's fingers from throwing. Polished to a slightly rough texture on the outside, with a glossy white glaze inside, and high sides that hold a plated course the way a restaurant plate does. Plates are sold individually, in either size.

The studio is CREATING COMFORT's own, in Ukraine, and part of its proceeds goes to Ukrainian refugees inside the country.

Materials

Stoneware, finished with a food-safe, lead-free glaze.

Size

Dinner plate: height 1.6", diameter 9.65". Salad plate: height 1.6", diameter 8.25".

Care

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Made to order — allow one to four weeks, unless the piece is already in the US warehouse, in which case it ships right away. Every piece is thrown and finished by hand, so size, glaze tone and surface vary a little from one to the next.
