Ash Wood Nesting Bowl Set

Bowls hand-carved from a single solid piece of ash and polished to bring out the grain. They nest inside one another, and between them they cover most of what a kitchen asks for - snacks on the table, fruit and vegetables on display, a batch of something being mixed. Bowls are sold singly in small, medium or large, or together as a set of three.

CREATING COMFORT makes these in its studio in Ukraine and directs part of its proceeds to Ukrainian refugees inside the country.

Materials

Ash wood, hand-carved from a single piece, with an oil finish.

Size

Small: diameter 7.45-8.45", height 2.55-3.15". Medium: diameter 9-10", height 2.75-3.5". Large: diameter 11-12", height 3.5-5.5".

Care

Hand wash with a mild dish soap and re-oil regularly with food-grade flaxseed oil or a beeswax wood conditioner. Avoid cooking oils such as olive or sunflower, which turn rancid in wood. Do not submerge or soak, which will warp the wood over time.

Please note

Each bowl is carved by hand, so size, colour and grain vary from one to the next.
