Anaar Snack Plate, Set of Two

A 7 inch stoneware plate in a glossy red glaze, with the anaar — pomegranate — painted at the centre. The pomegranate is a long-standing motif in Indian decorative work, and it is painted freehand here, so the fruit sits slightly differently on each plate. The size suits a snack, a dessert, or cake with coffee. Sold as a set of two.

Materials

Ceramic (stoneware).

Sizing

7 by 1 in. Set of two.

Lead-free. Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.

India, by artisan partners working in small batches.

Please note

Hand-painted, so no two plates are identical — small differences in the motif, the glaze and the tone are part of the work rather than faults in it.
