Leafy Greens Bag

Leafy greens are the most fragile thing in most fridges. Too much trapped moisture and they turn slimy; too little and they wilt within days. This zip-top linen bag sits between the two — the flax weave holds gentle humidity against the leaves while still breathing, so greens stay crisp rather than sweating in plastic.

This is a damp-storage bag. Rinse hearty greens such as kale, romaine and chard and shake off the excess; spray delicate ones such as spring mix and arugula. Zip it closed, keep it in the crisper drawer, and re-wet the linen as it dries out. The linen is untreated — there is no antimicrobial finish on it.

Care

Turn inside out and shake out any debris. Hand wash, or machine wash on gentle in warm water with a natural, non-toxic detergent — baking soda works well. Do not tumble dry. Use it straight out of the spin cycle, or air dry, ideally in the sun.
