Flower Power Linen Table Runner

Nine feet of organic linen with flowers printed into it by the flowers themselves. The Flower Power print is made by laying real blooms against the cloth and letting them give up their colour — so what you get is the delicate impression of a petal, not a drawing of one, and no two runners come out the same.

At 14 inches wide it dresses a table without burying it, and the linen is light enough to fold away in a drawer rather than needing a shelf. Good on a long farmhouse table, good with plain ceramics, and good enough for a holiday table where someone will ask about it. Hand dyed in a Maplewood, New Jersey studio using flowers grown from seed in the studio's own dye garden.

Materials

100% lightweight organic linen, hand dyed with real flowers, botanical extracts and natural dyes. No synthetic dyes.

Sizing

14 by 108 inches. One runner per order.

Care

Wash only when it needs it. Hand wash, or use a delicate machine cycle on cold, with a gentle pH-neutral detergent — nothing containing baking soda or optical brighteners, which strip plant dyes. Wash with similar colours and dry out of direct sunlight.
