Lipstick

A cream lipstick in a castor and coconut oil base with carnauba and candelilla waxes, cocoa seed butter, mango seed butter and cupuaçu seed butter, an Amazonian fruit butter that holds a lot of water. Colour is buildable: one coat reads sheer, two give full depth.

A non-toxic formula: the colour comes from minerals — mica, titanium dioxide and iron oxides — not synthetic dyes. The mica is ethically sourced and the titanium dioxide is non-nano. There is no added fragrance, and no parabens or phthalates. Vegan, and not tested on animals.

Nine shades. Buff is a neutral earth tone; Primrose a bright coral; Pink Clay a neutral everyday pink; Plum a cool-toned plum; Sangria a cool wine; Acai a deep neutral berry; and Passion Red a bold red — all matte or demi-matte. Hibiscus, a shimmery peach, and Mauve, a shimmery mauve, carry a slight shimmer.

How to use

Start at the outer corners of the lips and work towards the middle. One coat for a sheer colour, two for a bolder one.

Please note

In hot weather a cream lipstick can soften and release a little of its oil. That does not spoil it — leave it somewhere cool, or in the fridge for a short while, to firm up again. Best used within 12 months of opening. Colour can vary a little between batches.
