You Are Loved T-shirt - Organic Cotton

A red heart and the words you are loved, printed across the front of a tee in undyed organic cotton — the cotton's own colour, with no dye put through it at all.

Underneath the print it is the Brooklyn tee: a heavyweight, boxy, drop-shoulder shape with length built in, so it fits this year and still fits after the next growth spurt. The printing is done in the Washington, DC area with water-based ink that contains no PVC and no phthalates. The shirt itself is sewn in India by a production partner that is both Fair Trade and GOTS certified.

It comes in Medium, for 8 to 10 years, and Large, for 10 to 12 years. Send a child out into the day wearing something that says it plainly.

Sizing

The Brooklyn tee is a boxy fit, so the chest measurement is also the widest the shirt gets at the waist. Sizes run true to size, with extra length built in, and if your child is between sizes, size up. The cotton may shrink about 3 to 5% in the first wash. To check a size, measure around the chest just under the armpit, around the waist at its narrowest, and around the fullest part of the hips.

Care

Pre-treat stains with an eco-friendly treatment such as oxygen bleach or castile soap. Wash in cool water. Air dry, or tumble on low. And do not wash what is not dirty.
