Stevie Colorblock Sweatshirt - Organic Cotton

Some mornings call for more than a long-sleeved tee and less than a thick fleece. The Stevie sits exactly in that gap, and this is the color-blocked one, navy and rose set against each other across the body and sleeves. It is cut from Jackalo's signature organic loopknit cotton, a softer, smoother relative of French terry, light enough for a child who runs hot and warm enough for the walk to school in October.

Raglan sleeves run in one clean line from collar to cuff, so there is no shoulder seam to rub and nothing pulling when arms go up on the climbing frame. It is made without PFAS or harsh chemicals, and finished to survive the weekly wash, then a second child after that.

Buy the size they are now. The extra length built into the body is what carries it through the next growth spurt.

Materials

Organic loopknit cotton, a softer and smoother knit than French terry, sewn in a Fair Trade and GOTS certified factory.

Sizing

Sizes run true to size with extra length built in. If your child is between sizes, size up. Organic cotton shrinks about 3 to 5% in the first wash. To measure, take the chest just under the armpit, the waist at its narrowest point and the hips at their fullest.

Care

Pre-treat stains with an eco-friendly treatment such as oxygen bleach or castile soap. Wash in cool water. Air dry, or tumble dry on low. Don't wash what isn't dirty.
