Happy Face T-Shirt - Organic Cotton

One big yellow smiley face, straight on the chest, no explanation offered. This is the shirt kids reach for without being asked, and then wear out of the dryer and straight back on.

It comes in parakeet green or navy, both on Jackalo's Frankie raglan: organic cotton jersey, light, breathable, with raglan sleeves that keep the seam off the top of the shoulder and leave extra room through the arms. Graphics are printed in Washington, DC; the body is made in India in a factory certified Fair Trade and GOTS, and the cotton is made without PFAS, formaldehyde or phthalates.

Two colours, sizes 4Y through 14Y. An easy yes on a morning when nothing else is.

Sizing

Sizes run true to size with extra length built in. If your child is between sizes, go up. Organic cotton shrinks about 3 to 5% in the first wash, so allow for that. To check a size, measure your child around the chest just under the armpit, around the waist at its narrowest, and around the fullest part of the hips.

Care

Pre-treat stains with an eco-friendly treatment such as oxygen bleach or castile soap. Wash in cool water. Air dry, or tumble on low. Don't wash what isn't dirty — fewer washes means a longer life.
