Night Garden Silk Sleeping Mask

Pull it on and the room goes dark. A silk mask printed with real garden flowers, so the thing covering your eyes is quietly beautiful rather than a black strip of polyester — which matters on a long flight, on a bright summer morning, or in the twenty minutes you get in the middle of an afternoon.

Mulberry silk is smooth and soft against the thin skin around the eyes, and the elastic band is silk-covered so it does not drag on your hair. Hand dyed in small batches in a Maplewood, New Jersey studio, with most of the flowers grown from seed in the studio's own dye garden. A small thing to add to an order, and the sort of gift people keep.

Materials

100% mulberry silk, with a silk-covered elastic band. Hand dyed with real flowers, botanical extracts and natural dyes.

Care

Hand wash in cool water with a pH-neutral detergent. Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. A cool iron or steamer may be used.

Ethically sourced silk, woven in China and hand dyed in Maplewood, New Jersey.
