Laundry Soap Powder

A powdered laundry soap built on three ingredients: washing soda, oxygen powder and saponified olive oil. It is the version made without sodium borate, for anyone who would rather wash without it, and the sodium percarbonate in it cleans harder than the original liquid recipe. It handles everyday loads, delicates and cloth diapers. Use half a tablespoon to a full tablespoon per load in a high-efficiency machine, one to two tablespoons in a standard one, adding it straight to the drum in an HE machine. A 32 oz resealable kraft bag runs to about 128 high-efficiency loads. Unscented or scented with pure organic peppermint oil, with or without a scoop.

Ingredients

Sodium carbonate, sodium percarbonate, sodium olivate (saponified olive oil). The peppermint version adds pure organic peppermint essential oil.
