5.5" Marbled Ceramic Cereal Bowl

The signature marbled bowl, scaled down to the size you actually reach for at breakfast. Two clay bodies are thrown together on the wheel and allowed to mix as they turn, so the marbling is never twice the same — every bowl that comes off the wheel is a one-off. Good enough for a dinner party, sturdy enough for cereal every morning of the week.

Three colorways. Brown and white is unglazed white and brown stoneware outside with a glossy white interior. Dark brown and white is unglazed white and dark brown stoneware with a glossy white interior. Gray and white is white and gray stoneware with a glossy creme interior.

Materials

High-fire stoneware. Exteriors unglazed; interiors glazed glossy white or glossy creme depending on the colorway.

Sizing

Approximately 5.5 in across, 2.75 in high.

Care

Food safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe. Washing by hand is recommended and will keep the glaze looking its best.

Each piece is thrown and glazed by hand, so size, shape and marbling vary from the photographs. On high-fire stoneware the clay body itself shifts between lighter and darker tones from one firing to the next.
