Solid Botanically Dyed Silk Pillowcase

A pillowcase in a colour no machine made. Each one is dyed by hand with flowers and plant extracts, so the colour sits unevenly across the silk — deeper in places, barely there in others — which is the whole reason to buy a hand-dyed pillowcase instead of a printed one. Seven shades, from Pale Butterscotch through Juicy Pink to Silver Lavender.

It is 22-momme mulberry silk, meaning a dense, heavy weight rather than a thin slippery one, and its smooth surface is gentle on skin and hair and reduces friction while you sleep. A clean envelope closure keeps the pillow in with no zip to catch on anything. Put it on the pillow you actually use.

100% 22-momme mulberry silk, hand dyed with real flowers, botanical dye extracts and natural dyes.

Sizing

Standard, 20 by 26 inches. One pillowcase per order.

Care

Hand wash in cool water with a pH-neutral detergent. Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. A cool iron or steamer may be used.

Ethically sourced silk, woven in China and hand dyed in Maplewood, New Jersey.
