Carrot Birthday Beeswax Candles

Little carrots for the top of a cake, hand-poured in Los Angeles from pure beeswax — a whole beekeeping legacy behind something that burns for thirty seconds of singing.

The wax comes from one family farm in California’s Central Valley, where thirty-four hives work ten acres of lavender, rosemary, wildflowers, sunflowers and citrus. Keeping those bees thriving for the next generation is the point of the whole operation — and it is why every candle here is poured in pure beeswax, with no paraffin and no fragrance oil.
